On Thursday, March 26th, the Mid-Atlantic Region hosted Glenn Smith of New Church Initiatives for a dynamic, day long training event. We are making CD recordings of this seminar available to leaders in the Mid-Atlantic Region at cost. If you were at the event, the CDs are available to you at the cost of $8.00. I originally did not want to come to this event. As the day grew closer I started think of excuses I could use not to go (too much work, tired, busy, family, etc). I finally decided to go and I was pleasantly suprised. I thought I would be hearing another church growth seminar with strategies gleaned from south west airlines. I was wrong. It was biblical and empowering as well as convicting. I came away with a good understanding of what it takes to start a church planting movement. i was also convicted that if we do not plant churches the problem is with our desire - we really do not care about the lost - despite what we say
