Rev. Herbert Olver, a long-time pastor and past superintendent of the New York Conference passed away on April 17, 2009 at Heritage Village where he had been living since his retirement. Herbert and his wife Grace, who proceeded him in death served the New York Conference well in many different capacities. Much of the conference's multi-cultural distinctiveness was formed in the years that Herbert Olver was the superintendent. Two of his sons, Howard and Paul, and his daughter in law Delia, have also pastored in the New York Conference. Funeral arrangements are pending. Keep the family in your prayers.

Standing in prayer with the Olver family...
Rev. Olver will be sorely missed. He lived his life in constant service to the Lord and influenced a great many with this quiet dedication.
